Myriade today announced the release of their new PPS (Pay Per Share) pool mining option to complement their existing FRTNE (Fortune) pool mining. The PPS pool allows for users to decide their unique mix of MC (Mining Credits) and XMR(Monero) that they wish to earn diectly. The goal is to give more options to miners with sub-optimal CPU power to potentially mine Monero ($XMR) profitably. To get started visit https://myriade.io for more details or https://github.com/myriadeinc to view the code.

· Fortune Mining allows users to mine Monero for MC which can be used in the game room to enter XMR giveaways

· PPS allows miners to earn small amounts of Monero for every block they participate in. The Myriade PPS pool has a 0% fee, 0.001XMR withdrawal amount and no Withdrawal fees whatsoever.

· The Mining software has been made easy to download/use with video and text tutorials

How to select your MC/XMR mining allocation on the Mining Metrics page

Once a user signs up and downloads the mining software, they will be earning Mining Credits(MC) and/or Monero(XMR) depending on their chosen mix. It does not matter if the pool itself earns a block or not, the users will be credited with the MC and XMR they have earned regardless. Once a user has accrued enough credits, they can take them over to the game room. The only game available is Giveaways where users can use their credits like arcade tokens and purchase tickets to enter a variety of drawings where they can earn Monero. There have so far been 81 successful drawings that Myriade has executed. The largest active drawing is for 1.1504 XMR. There will always be a winner regardless of number of participants. The prize will always go to an entrant and never to Myriade itself.

By being focused on the amateur Monero enthusiast, the Myriade site walks users through the process of how to use the service as well as how to run and install the open-source mining software: “XMRIG” onto their PC’s for Windows, Linux, and MacOS users. There is also included a pre-made “config” file, allowing users to just drag and drop the file into their mining software folder and get started right away. The config file allows itself to be optimised by XMRIG on first run so it can tailor itself to the PC that it is being run on. For added measure, there exist video tutorials to walk users through some of the more headache inducing parts of mining.
